Amanda and Corey met many years ago while working and dancing in the DMV ballroom dance scene. Amanda was competing with her partner Stephen in ballroom, and Corey choreographed some (award-winning) choreography for their American Smooth and Rhythm routines. Although they eventually stopped working together on a regular basis, Amanda and Corey continued to keep in touch over the years in a professional and friendly capacity.

In 2021, Amanda and Corey reconnected to work on some choreography and the sparks flew. The pair had a somewhat long distance relationship with Corey living in Fredericksburg, VA and Amanda living in Towson, MD; but they saw each other regularly despite the distance and other obstacles. Corey moved to Baltimore County in fall of 2022 and the couple furthered their partnership on and off the dance floor together.

Amanda and Corey share many passions together such as dance, teaching, fishing and crabbing, animals, archery, and more!
